The original formula, Grandma's Gold Original, contained mineral oil and beeswax as it does to this day. Mineral oil has always been a popular choice for conditioning wooden kitchenware and was the go-to oil in those days. But as time passed, more and more customers started asking for a "more organic" alternative to mineral oil. And Grandma's Gold Premium was born. Grandma's Gold Premium contains organic walnut oil and organic beeswax.
